This is my first project I got to formally art direct at Xbox. I was already working on this community based feature and my skip manager saw an opportunity with budget to create multiple sets of profile pictures for Clubs with freelance artists

Clubs on Xbox
One of many features for the Holiday 2016 update was Clubs, a new way to create communities within Xbox. I was the visual designer for the project and worked closely with an interaction designer and PM to get his out the door
Club pics process
I got to art direct for the first time so I my role was to in find the talent then have a PM / my manager handle budget negotiations. Once we had contracts signed, I had full control over creative direction and communication with the artists. Here’s a moodboard example
