Part of many ways you can support streamers, stickers was a primary skill used in chat in Mixer’s game streaming platform. I was responsible for the art direction and concept phase of the initial set of stickers and creating guidelines for usage with external partnerships. Description
Supporting Creators
The first thing we built for chat with Season 2 was the introduction of Stickers. It’s a way of expressing yourself while also supporting creators by either spending passive currency (sparks) or paying for embers (premium), both of which streamers collect as patronage
Currency for Stickers
The first option is sparks, the blue coin with the lightning symbol. This is a passive currency created from viewing hours and also contributes to leveling up. These are often static stickers.
Embers is the premium currency, which you pay real money in exchange for embers that can be used on premium stickers and effects, namely animated or holographic stickers.

Basic Static
Static sticker were mainly used with sparks and were the most accessible in chat. I was responsible for creating the core set that were unlocked through progression and for future sticker packs
Premium Animated
This set required premium currency, embers. Many of the concepts were meant to provide empathy for the streamer or celebrate certain achievements while gaming
Premium Holographic
To up the ante on the basic static stickers I created a photoshop template to make this holographic effect inspired by rare Pokémon cards. These required embers, our premium currency
Guidelines
To help maintain consistency for future sticker packs and working with game publishers, I created rules and guidelines to help streamline the creation process

Stickerbomb
Final thing I created before I left Mixer was this seamless “sticker bomb” pattern. The best part was being able to use this texture for some custom Converse shoes the marketing team made as a gift for Mixer employees
